How does an intrinsically safe anemometer work?

To use the Scarlet WS-E10/WSD-E11 safely in your work environment, in compliance with OSHA and other explosion protection regulations, you must follow the instructions provided when using the device. The wireless anemometer sensor can be installed in Zone 1/2 hazardous areas. However, the receiver (monitor) can only be used in safe, non-hazardous areas. It is recommended to install approved intrinsic safety barriers between the hazardous area and the non-hazardous area when checking equipment.
