DI Wind

The DI wind is a system composed of an industrial wind sensor and an HMI control interface with a 5” color screen. It is capable of indicating real-time wind speed and, optionally, wind direction, and is designed for installation inside crane control cabins.

Operation and Visual Alarms The instrument records detected data and allows for the configuration of a pre-alarm threshold and an alarm threshold. In the event these thresholds are exceeded, the display instantly notifies the operator through:

• Acoustic warnings (buzzer).

• Chromatic variation of the display:

  • Green: OK

  • Orange: PRE-ALARM

  • Red: ALARM

Safety and Integration (CWW) The CWW also allows for the activation of external sirens or acoustic alarms and is capable of interacting with crane control systems (PLCs, inverters, etc.) to rapidly stop maneuvers in case of strong winds. Configuration of alarm thresholds and the potential activation of average controls and gusty wind control is extremely simple and intuitive.

Software Features and DI[Meteo] Systems

The software can manage readings from any weather sensor or all-in-one weather station, log values, and execute actions towards external systems via analog or digital outputs (industrial standards), managing alarm thresholds or comparison thresholds.

Installation Flexibility The system can be:

1. Inserted into panels requiring operator interaction.

2. Internal (headless system without a screen) and managed remotely via VNC.
