PMSA Analizzatore di umidità in linea

In-line moisture analyzer with PC software for determining the water content of single paper sheets. The PMSA is a laboratory instrument for determining the absolute water content of single paper sheets. Contrary to the traditional oven drying method, the PMSA paper moisture analyzer determines water content in seconds. The PMSA can be used for the analysis of samples taken directly from the paper machine as well as for incoming and outgoing inspection of paper sheets.

The analysis of measurement results is carried out on a PC: the intuitive software provides a user-friendly interface for displaying measurement values, calibrating additional paper types, and managing measurement data. State-of-the-art and long-term stable sensor technology ensures precise measurement values and extremely high repeatability. To ensure maximum precision, the system performs a sensor self-calibration before each measurement.

Measurement procedure/handling

After installing the PMSA software on the PC, connect the PMSA moisture sensor to the PC via USB cable. Select the paper type to be measured in the software and click the start button. To ensure maximum precision, the system performs a sensor self-calibration before each measurement, which only takes a few seconds. After self-calibration is complete, insert the paper sheet to be measured. After a few seconds, the determined water content is displayed on the screen. Now you can add additional data such as a batch number and save the measurement values in a database. Measurement data can also be exported (csv, html, xls) or printed. Additional paper types can be easily created and calibrated via the software.
