 The ST-15D integrates professional Class 1 sound level monitoring with a GPS analyzer compliant with international IEC and ANSI standards.

It features one-third octave band filters for detailed sound analysis. It accurately measures sound level and pinpoints the noise source with a single device.

Real-time 1/3 Octave Band Analysis:

Analyzing a sound source by frequency is very time-consuming, and that's where one-third octave bands make a difference. The ST15D applies 1/3 octave band analysis. 1/3 octave analysis is performed using real-time band-pass filtering with decimation technique. This allows complex sound to be divided into smaller sections or bands, which then produce detailed filter shapes to precisely pinpoint the noise source.

Locate the noise source with GPS:

Measure sound level, detect the sound frequency spectrum in real-time, and pinpoint the sound source from a single device. The integrated GPS displays start and end sound location details.
