OMK610
The OMK610 oven temperature recorder is designed to measure and record the temperature of the air and the surfaces of materials being processed inside the oven under extreme conditions. Measuring and recording up to 40,000 data sets, the OMK610 datalogger is simple, has an easy-to-use interface and comes with free PaintView reporting software. It is equipped with 6 channels for K-type or T-type thermocouples, and a high-temperature stainless steel thermal barrier suitable for use (in standard version) for long operating times at high temperatures up to 300 degrees Celsius.
After the powder coating has been applied to the parts being processed, it must be maintained at high temperatures for a predetermined period of time to achieve complete curing. Recording the oven temperature is essential to ensure consistent quality and sufficient curing over the entire surface of the part. Although mainly used in the powder coating industry, oven temperature recorders such as the OMK610 are also used in a variety of other industrial sectors (metalworking, food, quality control laboratories, etc.).
Connect up to 6 temperature sensors to the data logger and the part to be tested. To ensure that the temperature is monitored over the entire part, probes are typically placed on thin, thick, high, and low areas, and at least one air temperature sensor is used.
Place the data logger in the thermal barrier.
Insert the data logger into the oven along with the probes connected to the test piece
Analyze and report the results.
Verifying the temperature profile is very advantageous as it is a very effective way to minimize energy consumption, produce better product quality by minimizing processing waste.
