COMPLETE SYSTEM FOR WIND SPEED DETECTION AND ALARM ACTIVATION

The CWW is a system composed of an industrial wind sensor

and an HMI control interface with a

5" color screen capable of indicating wind speed and, optionally, wind direction

in real time. It can be installed on the crane's control cabin.

The instrument records the detected data and allows the

configuration of a pre-alarm threshold and an alarm threshold.

If the thresholds are exceeded, the display instantly warns the operator

through acoustic alerts (buzzer) and color variations of the display from

green (OK) to orange (PRE-ALARM) to red (ALARM).

The CWW also allows for the activation of external sirens or

acoustic warning devices, and is able to interact with the crane's

control systems (PLC, inverter, etc.) in order to quickly stop maneuvers

in case of strong wind.

The configuration of the alarm thresholds and the optional

activation of average control and gusty wind control

is extremely simple and intuitive.
