Concrete Datalogger Q610-S

The Grant OQ610-S datalogger is a compact concrete maturity measurement unit housed in a robust bright yellow waterproof case making it ideal for use on site in all weather conditions. The OQ610-S has six temperature channels and a digital display. It can be connected directly to a PC or laptop via a USB interface, ideal for quick download of readings. Using Microsoft Excel templates (supplied) the concrete maturity is calculated based on time and temperatures and displayed as a "maturity coefficient". This coefficient can be used to determine when the concrete is sufficiently solid and therefore ready.

In order to determine the degree of concrete maturity, temperature probes are embedded in the fresh concrete and at the end of the measurement are cut off, leaving the end in the now solidified concrete.

Grant can supply 100 spools of thermocouple cable along with the couplings (2 mini pins) so that the length of the individual probes can be defined for each individual application.

The cement maturity meter is easy to use, and allows rapid operation by providing certain information on the hardness of the artifact, providing benefits on the future efficiency of construction, providing real savings on raw material management costs in the future.
